For all activities in humid, cold and windy weather, Helly Tech® protection is the ideal protective layer. Guaranteed waterproof and breathable technology stops water ingress, but also removes moisture, which means it stays dry and warm, regardless of conditions.

Minimum waterproofness of 5,000 mm and breathability of 5,000 g / 24h / m2 and typically in the range of 5,000-15,000 for both, respectively.

· DRW: All Helly Tech fabrics are treated with a durable water repellent treatment to prevent moisture from leaking. This reduces the surface tension of the fabric to ensure that the water beads in the outer layer of the fabric leave you dry and comfortable.

· Laminated membrane 2 layers: A thin sheet of waterproof and breathable membrane material that is laminated to the fabric. The method of production of laminates is used when thinner, softer and generally higher performance cloth is needed.
The membrane is laminated inside the outer fabric making a 2-layer construction.
