The Responsible Down Standard (RDS) certification guarantees that our natural goose down fillings are ethically sourced, responsibly produced and traceable. Down is the best insulator in the world in terms of warmth to weight ratio.

WASH WITH SPECIAL CARE

Down-filled garments are delicate and require special care to maintain their maximum effectiveness. Use ONLY a front-loading washing machine, wash in warm water with a liquid detergent specifically for down garments (containing no bleach) and on a gentle cycle with gentle spin. To ensure that no soap residue remains, it is advisable to repeat the rinse cycle. An additional spin cycle will also help to remove excess water. Grasp the garment from the bottom without pulling it out of the washing machine.

FASTEN ALL FASTENERS

Before washing, turn garment inside out and fasten all zip and Velcro® fasteners to prevent accidental damage.

TUMBLE DRY ON A LOW TUMBLE DRY CYCLE.

Tumble dry on a slow, low temperature cycle. It is also important to wash and dry each garment separately. It is advisable to put tennis balls in the tumble dryer with the garment to help spread the feathers and prevent them from clumping.

PROFESSIONAL CLEANING

If your down-filled item won't fit in the washing machine or tumble dryer, it's best to take it to a cleaning service that specialises in down-filled items, which will save you time and energy.

DO NOT HANG TO DRY

If you don't have a tumble dryer, you can leave the garment to dry on a hot radiator. Move the garment from time to time so that the feathers do not clump together.
