The iconic model that gave birth to the Sidestripe: the Old Skool of old. Paying homage to our first factory in Anaheim, California, the Vans Old Skool Reissue 36 LX shoes feature details from the original Old Skool model. In addition to retro details like the original model number and a glossier protective stripe, these iconic Sidestripe trainers feature suede and canvas uppers to complete the look.
COMPOSITION
RUBBER: made from responsibly sourced natural rubber, obtained from sources that apply proven sustainable practices with the aim of reducing the impact on the planet.
Biobased EVA foam: The midsole and footbed are made of EVA foam with at least 25% plant-derived materials and are certified "Biobased" by the USDA (U.S. Department of Agriculture).
Regenerative cotton: The fabric used to make the blades and liner is 100% US cotton, grown using agricultural practices that can help improve the carbon absorption capacity of the soil.
Regenerative rubber: All of the rubber used to make the sole (60% of the compound) is sourced from farms that use regenerative practices to promote biodiversity, improve water cycles and soil health, and sequester carbon dioxide.
