Coveralls have always been associated with professional activities, where comfort and body protection were two of the most important properties for a good job. It is believed to have an origin linked to jeans, when Levi Strauss echoed the recurring complaints of miners about the ease with which their trousers were torn. Faced with this situation, Strauss devised a pair of trousers made of a stronger fabric, also adding an extra piece that went up the chest and provided greater comfort when working. Later on, this garment was taken to children's and women's wear, thanks to the designer Ernesto Thayaht, the creator of the first women's overalls in the 1920s.
The first models of women's overalls were simple and with few ranges of colours, but over the years they have evolved. In Esdemarca you can find a wide range of overalls in different styles and designs, perfect for formal and informal occasions.
